Pictured here is an odd couple. The disused West Pier lighthouse and the active beacon on the East Breakwater at Whitby in North Yorkshire, England. The scene was captured from a gap between two buildings, using a long telephoto lens. The late evening sun, was lighting the subjects and separating them from the backdrop of heavy storm clouds.
