This is the start of an extremely steep descent down through the village to the ocean. Although motor vehicles can just about make it; the advice is to leave vehicles in the car park at the top and walk. The street is narrow, there are no turning places and apparently many vehicles have run away and crashed into buildings while trying to negotiate the incline.
This unforgettable resort is; Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire, England.
