The Horseshoe Weir on the River Derwent in Belper Derbyshire, England. The weir was constructed in 1797 to power an early cotton mill and apart from height modifications in 1819 and 1843, it has remained largely unaltered. The view is from the road bridge, looking north along the river and shows a glimpse of the huge East Mill.
