This is St Peter's Bridge which spans the River Trent between Stapenhill and Burton on Trent. It was opened on November 14th 1985 and was built as an alternative river crossing to the heavily congested Burton Bridge.
The view here is from the Stapenhill end, where the bridge crosses Stapenhill Gardens and the Trent Washlands before it connects with the Bond End area of Burton.
