The setting for this picture is the Trent Washlands, and is dated August 2006. The two people are walking in the direction of the Ferry Bridge. Behind them in the distance is the railway bridge at Stapenhill, carrying the Burton to Leicester branch line and also the cooling towers of Drakelow Power Station, which has since been demolished. The River Trent lies to the left of the tall trees.

The location is the Trent Washlands, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, England.
